Source North America Corporation specializes in the sale of equipment, parts and materials for the construction and maintenance of gas stations, convenience stores, and petroleum & chemical handling facilities. They are one of the largest stocking distributors in the USA.
Source North America had a catalog consisting of several hundred thousand SKUs, all of which needed to be represented on their distributor e-commerce website. Caxiam developed a unique navigation and product searching/filtering solution to allow site visitors to find exactly what they needed. The solution also included an extensive backoffice application to allow product data entry by Source product vendors, thereby offloading some of the data entry responsibilities back to manufacturers. The website design also required that the site be "skinable" to change the high-level aesthetic characteristics but maintain the core functionality.
