The Production Marketplace (PMP) website is every aspiring music producer's dream. It was borne out of the need for an official online platform when it comes to the selling and purchasing of quality music tracks. PMP Worldwide is one of the leading online portals for music production and artist discovery. In the space of only 3 years, PMP has become the premiere destination for professional producers and music buyers in search of cutting-edge hip-hop, R&B, urban dance and electronic tracks.
With a little capital and a dream, two business savvy producers from New York engaged Caxiam Group to build an on-line marketplace for music production. Just three short years later, PMP has thousands of paying members many of which are enjoying success in the music industry by landing paying gigs after being discovered on PMP's website.
PMP asked Caxiam Group to enhance their Producers search page with an integrated music player solution. We worked with the PMP team to develop a compact player widget that was small enough to allow several to be displayed on a single search results page, but intuitive to end users. The new mini-player allows Buyers and website visitors to quickly audition Producer tracks without leaving their search results and needing to navigate deeper into the site.
By providing our custom web application development services, we built a comprehensive stats analysis and graphing solution for their Producers account feature. The Producers stats lets producers see who is viewing their tracks, how often they are viewed and overall financial performance of their profile. Producer response to the stats tracking feature has been overwhelmingly positive. The stats feature also allows PMP management to have an at-a-glance view of how all producers are performing, and to help further promote the rising stars within their ranks.
