The Dorsey Group is a consulting firm that specializes in team building and performance improvement efforts. The Performance Toolkit is a web-based tool used by The Dorsey Group to improve its client's performance and communications. Focused on creating synergy between process and people, this computer based training program was specifically designed to equip an organization with the tools, processes and know-how to meet their performance goals.

Convert & redesign current powerpoint/pdf application into a web-based, interactive, easily manageable solution. Challenge: Interpreting client's vision into a well designed application that could be customizable, utilize Microsoft Excel, expand and update easily, and be considered a leading industry software package upon completion.

For over 15 years, they molded a vision for what would become the Performance Toolkit. The application for many years presented itself in a PDF format with Microsoft application integration. With this choice in medium, the Dorsey Group came across many issues that prevented the Performance Toolkit from expanding. It lacked professionalism, therefore their client base was limited and not growing. It was expensive and time consuming to update, therefore it kept maintenance fees high. The application was not accessible online, a must for any application of this nature in today's world.

Our challenge was to interpret the client's vision into a well-designed application that could be customizable, utilize Microsoft Excel, expand the update easily, and be considered a leading industry software package upon completion.

• Converted the PDF/Excel application into a complete interactive experience using Flash.
• Created a navigational system that would allow trainees to quickly access any of the tools or presentation pieces within 2 short clicks
• Incorporated voice over, ambience, and sound f/x ��� all controllable through the audio toolbar
• The application communicates to Microsoft Excel, allowing the previous documentation to be integrated within the new application with little modifications.
• Example documentation included to help facilitate training.
• Built the application as a "shell" so that it could be easily customized (corporate identity, company examples, unique logins) for each new client.
