Founded in 1912, Montverde Academy is a college preparatory, coeducational independent school serving Grades PK3-12. The boarding program serves boys and girls in Grades 7-12 & PG. Montverde Academy develops students who have a desire to learn within a challenging academic environment. Through involvement in the fine arts, athletics, clubs, and service organizations, students are able to develop their abilities and become positive contributors to the school community.
The biggest challenge in building the Montverde Academy website was creating a navigation interface that allowed users to easily browse the large breadth of content presented within the website from a single element on the homepage. This was accomplished by designing an interactive Flash element that represented each of the content areas of the site in a logical hierarchy.
