The Dixon Ticonderoga Company is an office and art supplies maker, with headquarters in Heathrow, FL. Dixon offers a number of distinctive brands that empower people to take conscious and subliminal thoughts, facts, ideas and dreams, and preserve them using tools that are simply extensions of themselves. One of the most well-known is Ticonderoga - the yellow No.2 pencil. Other brands include Dixon and Oriole pencils, Dixon Industrial products, Prang school and art supplies and Lyra art products.
Prang is a Dixon brand that caters to the needs of schools and art institutions and the web presence needed to reflect that heritage. The design incorporates elements that appeal to both school children and teachers. All products on the site are pulled directly from an enterprise mainframe system, but are web-enhanced via a custom backoffice product management system.
