Bahamas Electricity Corporation (BEC) operates generation, transmission, and distribution systems throughout the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, serving approximately 85% of all electricity consumers in the nation. For more than 50 years, BEC has been committed to providing customers with safe, reliable electricity in the most cost-efficient manner possible.
Caxiam Group was hired to provide a web solution that allowed BEC to serve their customers on-line. The Caxiam Group solution for BEC was to create an enterprise website solution that incorporated extensive client content controls, a fully interactive island map, online service request and employment application forms, online bill payment services and a kid-friendly (and fun!) safety section.
