Ethan leads a team of software architects and engineers in building web-based technology solutions. When he's not knee deep in code he's helping drive Caxiam Group's products and services, client relationships and overall company growth. Ethan has been developing web applications for 12 years and has served as the lead architect for clients such as Bank of America, AAA, Dixon Ticonderoga and Herff Jones. He has an insatiable appetite for knowledge of emerging trends and ideas related to business and technology. Before co-founding Caxiam Group in 2001, Ethan led a team of developers in building a card-based stored-value platform responsible for millions of dollars in gift card transactions. This platform was purchased by Fidelity Information Systems in 2005 and redeveloped to support a billion dollar network of gift card revenue for Simon Malls.

If you won $50 million in the lottery, how would you spend it?
It's hard to know for sure but my hope is that I'd give a very large majority (say $45 million) of it away. Life is good as is and I wouldn't want the money to change any of that.
With $5 million remaining I would look to expand the service offerings of Caxiam Group, hire additional top talent, and grow our client base throughout the United States. -
You wouldn't be caught dead where?
On a roller coaster! -
Most hated chore on the household chore list?
I made a deal with my wonderful wife the day we got married. We set a fair market budget for outsourcing all household chores and anything she would like to do herself earns her extra spending money from our joint account. Anything she does not wish to do I will gladly pay others to do. It stimulates the local economy and enables me to focus my time on anything but household chores. I sometimes lose track of 12 hour blocks of time while working which means my chore list would never get accomplished otherwise. -
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As soon as I realized I would never get drafted to an NBA team, I set my sights on being a small business owner in a computer related field. -
What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?
Sleep in (you don't realize how precious sleep is until you have children!), work a half-day, push my daughter on the swings at her favorite park and chase her around the playground, dinner out with my wife, time with friends. -
What is your favorite holiday? and why?
The week of Christmas and New Year's because the amount of time away from the office always allows for great fellowship with family and friends from all over.
