User Interface Developer

Dave brings fifteen years of graphic design, e-commerce, application development and video editing experience to Caxiam Group. He has a unique understanding of the relationship between conceptual design and back-end architecture, and brings a passion for creating the visual and functional elements of websites & web applications. A graduate of UCF, Dave has expert level skills in User Interface Design & Development, CSS/XHTML, Javascript, and Video Editing.

  • Who or what inspires you?

    Hereos, but not the "super" variety - the everyday people that willingly put their lives on the line for others: service men and women, firefighters, law enforcement and astronauts.

  • Do you have any hidden talents?

    I can draw, paint and play the piano, although I haven't done any of those for years.

  • Name one thing that not many people know about you.

    I was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba while my dad was stationed there as a U.S. Navy pilot.

  • If you could only eat three foods a day, what would they be?

    Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cereal or pizza.

  • When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

    A special effects artist. I wanted to work in motion pictures building scale models and sets and then blow them up.

  • If you could go on a road trip with any one person (dead or alive), who would you choose and where would you go?

    I'd rent a fast car in Europe and tour Italy with my wife.
