It all started on a basketball court... in Illinois... in the fifth grade.

Caxiam Group's leadership is Eric Sharp & Ethan Pitsch – or 2E, as coined by a whimsical client from Ohio. They grew up together in the humble town of Sterling, Illinois, taking numerous classes and playing sports together as they made their way through childhood and into High School. They followed their own paths after graduation, but eventually found themselves studying together again at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

After college, 2E found themselves working at the same small web company founded by two NASA engineers. Together they sharpened their skills technically and creatively, and began working with Fortune 1000 clients such as Bank of America, Visa, AAA, ADP, and E*Trade.

Over the years, the small web company became 250+ employees through a series of acquisitions and mergers and 2E found themselves longing to get back to custom web services and create businesses of their own. They began burning the midnight oil and chased any potential lead to begin building their contacts.

For the most part, 2E worked independently, each having separate business interests. Eric focused on the creative & marketing aspects of client projects, and Ethan focused on the technical & software requests. As they increasingly relied upon each other to collaborate on projects, a partnership was born. [continued below]

It would take 2E a couple of years of trial and error with employees to build the dream team they had always wanted. Their persistence and determination paid off when senior team members from their previous employer began calling, eager to join Caxiam. Local talent was also drawn to Caxiam Group as their client base grew.

Today, Ethan and Eric remain very enthusiastic and motivated - always looking for the right opportunities to grow and build Caxiam's business. With their dream team in place, 2E can fully focus on utilizing their in-house talent to produce amazing web solutions for their clients in local, national, and international markets. Though it has been a number of years since that first basketball game on the fifth grade playground, their friendship continues to grow as Caxiam grows. Their long-term connection – as friends and business partners – signals to any potential client that this is a stable business founded on loyalty and shared vision.
