One of the very first questions Caxiam Group tries to address is, Is Caxiam Group the right fit for this project's size and scope? Caxiam Group does not respond to all RFPs received, nor do we pursue all business leads. We take a careful approach to ensure all the right ingredients are present before we approve the project proceeding through the Discovery phase.

Once the proposal has been approved and contracts have been signed, our first step is to define how we're going to proceed. This phase involves creating blueprints and laying a foundation on which to build the project. Due to the overwhelming number of methods, approaches and paths an organization can take when dealing with a technology project today, Caxiam Group uses special care to evaluate all options and determine the best overall plan for project success.

There are three main stages of Caxiam Group's Design phase. Each stage along the way provides our clients a window into our strategy and progress until a design review is scheduled. The ultimate goal of the Design phase is to accurately depict form and function so that a client can envision how the two work together seamlessly. Once the client understands this vision, we can move a project in the Development phase and begin prototyping the designs.

The first stage of our Design process is to continue our detailed schematics that were originally created in our Definition phase. We take what was created during this previous phase, and work them further to portray more detailed functionality, showcase a deeper level of user experience, and storyboard more intricately any interactive applications. Once these enhanced schematics are signed off on, we can move onto the second stage of creating digital representations of these schematics.

The second stage of Caxiam Group's Design process is to incorporate photography, colors, and fonts provided by the client (or developed by us) and form working Photoshop compositions with navigation, user interface elements, and content.

After digital mockups are created, we conduct a design review - which is the third stage of our Design process. During a design review, we gather feedback and make necessary tweaks and adjustments to the designs. On Enterprise Solution websites, clients will enjoy the luxury of seeing 2 - 3 variations of a design. Once the modifications are completed, a verbal and sometimes written approval is required to move forward into Development.

The Development phase always represents the largest phase of the project. This phase can be further broken down into the following activities:

This phase assures that the project functions as expected upon completion. We provide our Quality Assurance team with access to the development version of the site and the documents created during the Discovery and Definition phases. The Quality Assurance team then returns a list of known issues which are resolved prior to project release.

This phase involves our team transferring the completed development version of the project to a production environment. Often all the server configuration that took place in the Development phase is repeated in the production environment with additional security practices in place.

This phase involves ensuring the success of a website. This phase focuses on driving visitors to the website, driving those visitors to find success while visiting the website, and driving towards the clients' objectives. For all intents and purposes, once a project is completed, it remains in the Drive phase for the life of the project. This is where all maintenance, enhancements, and additions take place. Caxiam Group offers discounted Drive phase rates to all clients completing projects over $50,000.
